About Beth
I transitioned into Health and Wellness Coaching in 2020 after 15 years of working in international development and global public health. Even though I loved my first career, I began to sense a call to healing work several years ago after facing intense personal challenges. I also watched many of my colleagues burn out from the intensity of social justice and development work and I was feeling those effects myself.
My journey has led me to being a different kind of change agent – helping others move to a space of flourishing and growth out of challenge and crisis. When I reflect on who I am and where I’ve been, deep and empathetic human interaction is what animates me and what now speaks to me.
I completed a Master of Arts degree in Health and Wellness Coaching in May 2022 at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) because I believe that individual healing will positively impact the individual and the collective. This healing program enhanced my previous graduate degrees from the George Washington University in Public Health and International Development.
I live in Charlottesville, Virginia and truly love the nature and beauty in the area. I am an avid traveler, adventurer, meditator, reader, baker, and a creative mama to a spunky and fabulous 10-year-old daughter and a sweet 4-year-old pup.
Come grow with me!
